Huawei Just Schooled iPhone and Samsung With Their New Design. Check It Out

Just too soon we are about to enter the post-notch era. The curvaceous cut-out at the top of the display used to house the front-facing camera, speaker and sensors that has characterised smartphone design since the introduction of the iPhone X last year could be living on borrowed time.

Even though Huawei has had its fare share of notched phones in 2018, the 2nd largest phone maker is about to introduced a massive game changer in the smart phones industry.

Huawei offered a brief glimpse of its first notch-less, all-screen handset at a concert in China , the Huawei Nova 4 , according to a blog post by WinFuture.de . Nova 4 has a similar cut-out design to the Infinity-O displays that Samsung Galaxy S10 unveiled during its recent developer conference.

Instead of a notch, the Huawei Nova 4 comes with a small pin-hole sized cut-out in the top left hand-corner for the camera lens with the front-firing speakers, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensors either embedded underneath the glass display, or relocated to another part of the smartphone.

As far as the other features of the Huawei Nova 4 is concerned, its the design might not be massively different from the Mate 20 Pro. Presumably the new Nova 4 will be officially launched in early December.
